When the toils of life are over,
當我跑盡應跑道路，
and we lay our armor down,
打過當打的美仗，
And we bid farewell to earth with all its cares,
我必被提升天進入主榮光；
We shall meet and greet our loved ones,
當我守住所信真道，
and our Christ we then shall crown
甚至殉道毫不爽，
In the new Jerusalem.
必得聖城為獎賞。

There’ll be singing, there’ll be shouting,
我必被提進入榮光，
when the saints come marching home,
同主住在那聖城，
In Jerusalem, in Jerusalem;
新耶路撒冷！新耶路撒冷！
Waving palms with loud hosanas,
同眾聖者歡呼、歌唱，
as the King shall take His throne,
讚美主恩，頌主名，
In the new Jerusalem.
在那新耶路撒冷！

Though the way is sometimes lonely,
今在異地作客飄泊，
He will hold me with His hand,
雖受窘困仍歡暢，
Through the testings and the trials I must go;
因我不久必到更美的家鄉；
But I’ll trust and gladly follow,
親朋雖以世福為上，
for sometime I’ll understand,
但我天天所仰望，
In the new Jerusalem.
乃是聖城在天上。

When the last good-bye is spoken,
雖然道路崎嶇難行，
and the tear stains wiped away,
使我腿酸、手下垂，
And our eyes shall catch a glimpse of glory fair,
但一想到那城，全身力即回；
Then with bounding hearts we’ll meet Him
雖然我眼難免流淚，
who hath washed our sins away,
但是我心永不灰，
In the new Jerusalem.
因有聖城為我備。

When we join the ransomed army
我今鬥拳不是打空，
in the summerland above,
奔跑不是無目標，
And the face of our dear Saviour we behold,
乃是照神心意，追求那上好；
We will sing and shout forever
忘記背後，努力面前，
and we’ll grow in perfect love,
向著標竿一直跑，
In the new Jerusalem.
要得聖城的榮耀。

主愛何豐，主恩何盛，
使我得住那聖城，
新耶路撒冷！新耶路撒冷！
眾聖歡騰，眾聖和聲，
讚美主恩，頌主名，
在那新耶路撒冷！
