How true it is no heart may comprehend
神為屬祂的人所備榮耀，
The glory God prepareth for His own,
並這世代末日將生何事，
And what will happen when this age shall end;
實在無人能以領會、知曉；
But yet in vision Jesus hath made known
但主在異象中早已啟示：
How fair and holy shall the Church descend,
教會從天降，美麗且榮耀，
Lit up with light of precious jasper stone.
光輝明亮有如碧玉寶石。

And He shall make His Church all heavenly fair,
主將使祂教會全然美麗，
With-gold and pearls, and every radiant stone,
如精金、珍珠，並閃亮寶石；
And reign in holiness and glory there,
在聖潔裡為王，榮耀無比，
And shine as suns and stars have never shone;
所發光輝遠勝天上星日；
And He shall lead His Bride, His joy and care,
祂將領祂新婦，祂心所喜，
With blissful singing to His Father’s throne.
同到父的座前頌揚不止。

And then the blest communion shall have come,
那時，神的眾子都將會集，
Of God’s dear children meeting from afar;
那有福的交通將要來臨；
Within His burning love they blend as one,
在祂的大愛中相調為一，
Yet each, according as His counsels are,
各人顯出他特出的光景，
Shall have peculiar glory of his own,
都按照祂的智慧所定意，
As one star differeth from another star.
正如這星榮光異於那星。

And God is all in all in that great day,
在那日，神是一切的一切，
And He is their exceeding great Reward;
祂將是他們極大的獎賞；
Their stream of life, their beautiful array,
是生命源，是美麗和喜悅，
Their food, their joy, their radiance, Christ the Lord;
主是他們的食物和榮光；
The music of their wondrous song shall say,
喜樂難言，惟用美妙音樂、
How great the joy that passeth thought or word.
詩章來表達其中的歡暢。

And this is that eternal life of heaven,
這是天上那永遠的生命，
Laid up with Christ in God, the’ mystery
與基督一同藏在神裡面，
Of resurrection life which He hath given:
祂所賜復活生命的顯明：
A fount of living waters full and free;
是活水泉源，白給而豐滿；
A life by which the gates of death are riven,
是勝過死亡權勢的生命，
A life which on the throne of Christ shall be.
憑這生命，與基督同掌權。

And here in this waste wilderness begun,
一切從這荒廢的曠野起，
So soon as we believe in Christ aright,
當人對基督有正確信仰，
And quickened by the Spirit of the Son,
兒子的靈使我們有生氣，
Receive Him as our only life and light,
接受祂作我們生命、亮光，
As all the branches in the vine are one,
我們在祂眼中永遠合一，
So we are one forever in His sight.
如葡萄樹上的樹枝一樣。

Now come, Lord Jesus, quickly from above,
主耶穌，我們今求你快來，
Do Thou sustain us on the desert road,
在這曠野路上扶持我們，
And draw us after Thee by might of love,
你大愛引我們親近你懷，
Our Fatherland art Thou, O love of God;
你是我們家園，哦，愛的神；
Once safe in Thee, no more shall we remove,
你裡何安全，我們不離開，
O Thou our everlasting sure abode.
你是我們住處、永遠福分。
