”A little while!” Our Lord shall come,
一點時候⸺主就回來，
And we shall wander here no more;
我們就要不再流落；
He’ll take us to our Father’s home,
迎接我們歸家雲外，
Where He for us has gone before—
祂所豫備天上居所－
To dwell with Him, to see His face,
與祂同居瞻祂榮面，
And sing the glories of His grace.
高聲歌頌奇妙恩典。

“A little while—He’ll come again;
一點時候⸺祂就再來，
Let us the precious hours redeem;
我們須要贖回光陰；
Our only grief to give Him pain,
使祂痛心是我悲哀，
Our joy to serve and follow Him.
跟祂、事祂，是我歡欣；
Watching and ready may we be,
願我豫備，儆醒、禱告，
As those that wait their Lord to see.
有如僕人等候主到。

“A little while—’twill soon be past,
一點時候⸺轉瞬即過，
Why should we shun the promised cross?
主賜十架為何推辭？
O let us in His footsteps haste,
步祂腳蹤，效祂所作，
Counting for Him all else but loss;
為祂，利益算作損失；
For how will recompense His smile
祂的笑臉是為報酬
The suff’rings of this little while.
這苦痛的“一點時候。”

“A little while—come, Savior, come!
一點時候⸺求你就來！
For Thee Thy bride has tarried long;
主，你新婦盼望已久；
Take Thy poor waiting pilgrims home,
疲倦客旅切切等待，
To sing the new eternal song,
歸家高唱永遠歌謳；
To see Thy glory, and to be
見你真體榮耀無比，
In ev’rything conformed to Thee!
並要改變完全像你。
