Take time to be holy, Speak oft with Thy Lord,
用功追求聖潔， 多和主對講，
Abide in Him always, And feed on His Word.
常住在祂裡面， 以祂話為糧。
Wait thou in His presence, Submissive and meek,
等候在祂面前， 柔順且降服，
Forgetting in nothing His blessing to seek.
每件事上不忘, 尋求祂祝福。

Take time to be holy, The world rushes on;
用功追求聖潔，　　事務雖忙碌；
Spend much time in secret With Jesus alone.
多花時間單獨　　　和主在密處。
By looking to Jesus Like Him thou shalt be;
借著仰望耶穌，　　變成祂形像；
Thy friends, in thy conduct, His likeness shall see.
在你的行為上，　　人見祂模樣。

Take time to be holy, Let Him be thy guide;
用功追求聖潔，　　讓祂作領導；
And run not before Him Whatever betide;
任何事情發生，　　不在祂前跑；
In joy or in sorrow Still follow thy Lord,
無論是樂是苦，　　始終跟隨主，
And, looking to Jesus, Still trust in His Word.
始終相信祂話，　　常仰望耶穌。

Take time to be holy, Be calm in thy soul,
用功追求聖潔，　　內心須寧靜；
Each thought and each temper Beneath His control.
讓祂前來管理　　　意念和性情。
Thus led by His Spirit To fountains of love,
祂靈把你帶到　　　愛的發源所，
Thou soon shalt be fitted For service above.
如此你纔配作　　　屬天的工作。
