The living of Christ when He sojourned on earth,
當基督寄居在地時的生活，
The sixteenth Psalm shows us, was wholly of worth.
如詩篇十六篇所記的情形：
His attitudes, choices, and interests all tell
祂的態度、選擇、喜好，
The man who in God’s tabernacle may dwell.
都述說住在神帳幕內之人的光景。

Preserve me, O God, for in Thee I confide—
神阿，保佑我，因為我投靠你；
In God He took refuge whate’er did betide.
⸺祂以神為避難所，凡事倚賴。
O Thou art my Lord, I’ve no good beyond Thee
你是我的主，祂不斷向神提：
He spoke in Himself unto God constantly.
神阿，我的好處不在你以外。

As for all the saints who are dwelling on earth,
論到世上的聖民，又美又善；
To Him they’re the people of excellent worth.
⸺祂說他們是祂所最喜悅的；
Of them He has said He has all His delight—
四福音書都證實這個恩言，
In proving this all the four Gospels unite.
祂甚至為他們捨棄了自己。

The Lord is my portion, the Lord is my cup—
神是我的產業，我杯中的分；
For everything He to the Father looked up.
⸺無論何事，祂都以父為信託。
The Lord I will bless who my counsel doth give
我必要稱頌那指教我的神。
Himself He denied and by God’s word did live.
⸺祂否認自己，單靠神話而活。

His heart thus was glad and His spirit rejoiced,
祂因此靈裏快樂、心裏歡喜，
And e’en in His death praise to God could be voiced;
甚至在死裏仍揚聲讚美神；
His soul God would never abandon to hell,
神必不使祂魂在陰間被棄，
But in resurrection His body would dwell.
祂的身體要復活不見朽損。

God raised Him, and He with God’s glory was crowned;
神使祂復起，以榮耀為冠冕；
Then fullness of joy in God’s presence He found.
在神面前尋到滿足的喜樂。
E’en now at the Father’s right hand is His seat,
祂今已高升坐在神的右邊，
Where flowing forever are pleasures complete.
從那裏湧流出永遠的福樂。
