“I’ll not come into my house,
“我不進我的帳幕，
Nor go up to my bed,
不上我的床榻，
Give slumber to my eyelids—
不容我打盹閉目，
Until I find a place for Thee,
直等到我為耶和華，
A place, O Lord, for Thee.”
尋得安息之處。”
Our mighty God desires a home
全能的神巴望有家
To dwell with all His own.
使屬祂者可住。

How blinded we have been,
我們何等眼瞎，
Shut in with what concerns us;
只顧自己的事務，
While God’s house lieth waste—
任憑神殿荒涼⸺
Lord, break through all and turn us!
哦主，你必須有路！
We’ll go up to the mountain,
我們情願上山取木，
Bring wood and build the house;
為建你殿勞碌；
We’ll never say, Another day!
絕不再說：且等明日

It’s time to come and build.
建造當趁今日！

O Lord, against these days,

Inspire some for Your building,

Just as in David’s day—

To come and work in Your house,

These times are for preparing;

Against the builded Church!
