Jesus is longing for His Bride,

All glorious within.
全然榮耀、美麗。
His longing ill be satisfied

When she is fit for Him.

’Tis by the Word the church is made
話中之水，洗淨教會，
Holy and pure as He;
聖潔沒有瑕疵；
All spots and wrinkles it removes
榮耀新婦，與祂相配，
That she His Bride may be.
毫無皺紋玷污。

We must redeem these golden days,
我們必須贖回光陰，
Receive the Word in prayer,
禱告領受主話，
Amening every line and phrase,
每一經節，都說阿們，
And thus for Him prepare.
存心預備見祂。

Oh, how the Word doth penetrate,
哦，主的話確像利劍，
Spirit and soul divide,
剖開我魂與靈，
Revealing every hidden weight
心中隱情、沉重負擔，
For us to lay aside.
都能辨明、除淨。

Lord, how we thank Thee for Thy Word
主，感謝你，因為你話，
Living and operative.
活潑且有功效。
Oh, for Thy coming, we are stirred
真願藉話生活、變化，
Ever by it to live!
迎接你的來到。

Lord, make us those who bring Thee back,
主，使我們滿足你心，
Who satisfy Thy heart.
促進你能快回。
Now by Thy Word supply our lack,
今藉你話，供應更新，
Make us Thy counterpart.
好使與你相配。
