O God! we see Thee in the Lamb
父神阿，你在羔羊裏
To be our hope, our joy, our rest;
是我的盼望和安息，
The glories that compose Thy name
你名所表一切慈仁，
Standing engaged to make us blest.
都是為著賜福我們。

Thou great and good! Thou just and wise!
偉大、智慧、公義、慈仁，
Hail! as our Father and our God!
你是我父，又是我神；
For we are Thine by sacred ties,
我們屬你，是藉寶血，
Thy sons and daughters—bought with blood.
作你兒女，永遠聯結。

Then, Oh! to us this grace afford,
既是這樣，願你施恩，
That far from Thee we ne’er may move;
好叫我們親近你身；
Our guard—the presence of the Lord;
你的同在作我居所，
Our joy—Thy perfect present love.
你的大愛作我喜樂。

This gives us ever to rejoice,
這叫我們永遠歡騰，
Turning to light our darkest days;
這叫黑夜變為光明；
And lifts on high each feeble voice,
若有微息尚能稱頌，
While we have breath to pray or praise.
必引弱聲向你歌誦。
